In 2007, Maceo Brown founded MACEOs Kids Foundation, a 501@ (3) non profit organization created to bring intelligent, compassionate and dedicated members of the business community together, in pursuit of providing youth the opportunities and tools to grow as successful members of society.  Its purpose is to assist African American youth between the ages of 12-17 with academic, social and professional development, providing opportunities for them within the city of Atlanta-fostering their entrepreneurial spirit and recognizing the importance of giving back to the community.  MACEOs Kids seek to pair African American youth with mentors, in an effort to foster an entrepreneurial spirit.  Youth will learn economic empowerment as it relates to their community and will have an opportunity to gain hands on experience developing their own ideas into actual businesses.
